How to use Ten
Share
When you have thick curls it can feel like a bit of a mountain to overcome. We know the silent battles – the halo frizz, the parts that refuse to be defined. We know, but Ten leave-in conditioner makes all the above a thing of the past.
We promise this isn’t magic, but our founder formulating with natural ingredients for the curls of your dreams. How we hear you ask? Here’s our guide.

Firstly, understand your curls:
Are your curls tightly-coiled 4C, or looser like 3B? This dictates the amount of Ten you need (remember, thick curls require more product). Do not be tempted to get big handfuls, go slowly, it’s always better to add than take product away.
Application: START ON DAMP (not soaking) HAIR. Sorry for the caps, but you get the best results.
Begin at the thirsty ends and work your way up, avoiding the roots – a weighed-down crown hinders, not empowers. Remember, detangling with conditioner is your secret weapon against breakage, and is the base of every beautiful hair style.

Styling:
We love to see your curls in their natural state, but feel free to braid, twist, or rock an up-do once your curls are rehydrated with Ten
Pro tips for our thick-haired sisters:
-
Moisture magic: Mix a few drops of our Five hair oil with Ten to add softness to any crunchy curls.
-
Refresh like a pro: Between washes, spritz your hair with warm water and a touch of Ten to revive curls with praying hands. This works a treat on day 3 and day 4 hair.
-
Experiment and listen: Don’t worry if you’ve applied too little or too much the first time, you’re human, and starting again is not a failure, you’re just learning.
I promise thick curls aren’t a curse, but a blessing, our Nan always says she misses her thick hair so we are embracing every curl strand from now on!
